Důvěřuj Noah, ale než vyrazíš na vodu nastuduj, připrav se a dodržuj základní zásady:

Preparation

Cockpit is mid-sized, which is better in a heavy water. It holds sprayskirt best if its lower side is sanded.

Saddle is adjustable by shaving away extra foam.

Seat with molded-in hip braces comes in two sizes according to boat.

X-constructional versions are adjustable by 4 mm allen-wrench. When you loosen the screws, step on the seat, lift one and then other side of the cockpit and gently knock-down the screws to loosen the double security "bite" of the parts knock the seat forward or get in and push it backwards - it is the most functional setup.

Foam backrest for KISS may be tight at first. Don't mess it up! It will settle down after you paddle a few times. Enjoy this 4" + wide spring action.

Adjustable backrest system is closest to KISS of them all and to the arm-chair comfort zone.

One touch from the pilot's cockpit commands it all. Like with new shoes give it a week to conform to your body.

Knee braces are available in two sizes for rodeo version - the smaller paddlers should order the larger size in advance. For other constructions with molded-in braces we recommend gluing on a layer of foam.

Foot braces can be extended by shaving down the outside corners of these shock-absorbing foam sculptures. (3 meter boats have enough room for which you can order fully adjustable braces.)

Flotation - Noah 4"+ structural foam pillars are the best positive flotation, but flotation bags increase safety and are necessity above class III. Learn from a reputable individual or organization and get additional safety information.

Use

Wear sprayskirt, lifejacket and helmet. Dress to prevent hypothermia. Paddle with a partner or in a group. As with any equipment, take it easy while getting acquainted with your boat.

Practice the wet exit. Do not "tease" whitewater without learning an Eskimo roll. If a circumstance interferes, one way to rescue yourself is to leave your boat upside down, holding on, while pushing it to a shore.

Scout unfamiliar rapids. Have a throw rope ready and use it to help others. A knife may be useful. Consider water condition and changes, your skill level, physical fitness etc. Instead of exhibitionism, choose long years of paddling.

Maintenance

Transportation - A "cradled" boat rack is recommended to prevent temporary distortion on a hot day. Tie down well and secure 3m/10'+boats with bow and stern lines. If you lack a cradle setup or a center upright bar, transport the boat upside down. Attention: Sharp rodeo boat edges may cut through tie-downs or rope really fast - inspect it regularly.

Cleaning - general purpose cleaners maintain the boat's appearance. Customers buying glittery shine may be pleased for a few days, Noah glare-proof finish looks and performs better after the first whitewater scratches.

Dents (wows) - are caused by too much exposure to sun, improper storage or transportation. It is not a long-term problem, because Noah materials have memory. To refresh them, use a brace with pads or place a weight so as to straighten up the dent and heat the plastic a little with a hair dryer.

Storage - stand on end, lay upside down, or suspend with ceiling loops approx. 6' apart. Indoor storage beats continuous outdoor exposure.

Other - Avoid tire tracks over the boat, road rash and cuts or metal punctures. Care and damage checks pay off. Recycle by trading in and have fun.
